The file for managing the backup of your ArcGIS GeoEvent Server configuration (com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg) resides in one of the following locations depending on your operating system:
- Windows—<ArcGIS Server installation directory>\GeoEvent\etc\com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg
- Linux—<ArcGIS Server installation directory>/GeoEvent/etc/com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg
In the file, a single property is available that allows you to set the location for storing the backups of your GeoEvent Server configuration as XML files:
com.esri.persistence.file.path=C://ProgramData//Esri//GeoEvent//The configuration backup location is used in conjunction with the Automatic Backup Settings options on the Settings page in ArcGIS GeoEvent Manager, available at Site > Settings).
